The term refactoring is misunderstood in many places – it often blocks feature development and often has a bad reputation with management. It doesn’t have to be this way. In his book “Tid First?” So Kent Beck describes in detail the “cleanups” that developers can use to better design code. This episode features Marco Emmerich Together with Eberhard Wolff, he did a solid cleanup of the code examples. Marco worked on translating the book into German and also lectured on its contents.

Since June 2020, more than 200 episodes have been created that shed light on various areas of software architecture – sometimes with guests, sometimes with Wolff solo. For two years now, iX (heise developer) has been integrating episodes streamed via YouTube into the online channel so that viewers can follow video casts from Heise media.
