With uutils-coreutils, a team of Rust developers led by Debian developer Sylvestre Ledru wants to give the venerable, nearly fifty-year-old GNU coreutils a fresh look.
Written in a modern language, they are intended to serve as familiar and valuable admin tools, with near-perfect compatibility even on newer platforms.
