the signature Opposition has recently launched the Reno12 F and Reno12 FS devices on the market, two smartphones in 4G and 5G versions with comprehensive AI functions and high storage capacity. They offer a renewed design called Cosmos Ring, a dynamic light halo and a 120Hz smart screen, including all-round armor protection.
They stand out for the advanced AI functions included in the photographic section, such as AI Eraser 2.0 and AI Smart Image Matting 2.0, which also increase productivity thanks to built-in tools such as AI Recording Summary and AI Writer.
Likewise, they are characterized by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 and Qualcomm SnapdragonTM 685 processors for good connectivity and offering optimal performance through the AI LinkBoost function.
robust design
The new Cosmos ring finish on the rear camera module is inspired by classic wristwatches, and has a halo of light around it to add a lighting effect that syncs with music playback and provides added value to the listening experience. The Halo Light offers a variety of customisable lighting effects for different environments, and acts as a discreet charging, call and message notification system.

The design includes a glass screen and an alloy structure developed by Oppo, while the internal components are protected by a sponge bionic cushioning protection structure. They are IP64 rated with water and dust resistance, and are 5 star certified in the SGS Performance Multi-Scene Protection Test.
High dose of intelligence
At the core of the Reno12 series is generative AI. When it comes to AI photography, the AI Eraser 2.0 tool allows you to remove unwanted objects from photos. AI Smart Image Matting 2.0 has been updated with greater precision, allowing cropping of various objects that can be saved as stickers. The smartphone also includes AI Studio, which offers a personalized AI-powered photography experience, capable of transforming ordinary portraits into digital avatars.

Connectivity

The Reno12 F 5G and Reno12 FS 5G are equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, which features a 10% power efficiency improvement compared to the previous generation. The Reno12 F 5G is available with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM, with up to 16GB of virtual RAM and, on the other hand, the Reno12 FS 5G is available with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of ROM, with up to 24GB of virtual RAM available through RAM expansion technology. The inclusion of Oppo’s Trinity Engine guarantees long-term efficiency. Additionally, both models include Vita-ROM to intelligently compress and erase storage to create more space for files. With these improvements, the devices have passed a 50-month efficiency security test, allowing optimal performance for more than four years of use.
