It uses very resistant materials combined with a wear-resistant ceramic steel transmission mechanism. The overall thickness and weight have been significantly reduced, with the total hinge volume reduced by 34%. The unfolded thickness of the new design is only 4.59 mm and the folded thickness is 9.47 mm.
The hinge, floating display backplate, midplate, and battery compartment are molded from T800H carbon fiber material. This improves overall strength and durability, reducing weight.
The innovative three-layer five-surface motherboard design, combined with large-area tin spraying technology, achieves precise soldering, improving circuit stability and reliability. For the first time, the application of three-dimensional shape battery technology and three-dimensional stacking process utilizes the irregular space in the COP packaging area of the motherboard, increasing the battery capacity from 260mAh to 5100mAh.

Types of screens
It has two screens, the inner one is a 7.98-inch panel with a resolution of 2488×2244, which supports an adaptive refresh rate of 1-120Hz and HDR10+. The outer one is a 6.56-inch C8+ panel with a resolution of 2520×1080, which supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a P3 color gamut screen. The inner display uses Pole-less Plus technology, which reduces power consumption, and improves brightness and color performance.
Both screens support Dolby Vision technology, which delivers an extreme HDR experience. Dolby Vision enhances brightness and contrast, providing layers of colour and detail.
Camera System
The Mix Fold 4 features a Leica optical quad camera system that covers all focal lengths. The main one uses a new 50MP high dynamic range Light Fusion sensor, introducing ‘Dual Native ISO Fusion Max’ technology. This technology provides accurate color reproduction and detail retention in high contrast scenes. The 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens provides a 120° field of view, while the 50MP Leica floating telephoto lens provides excellent portrait effects and macro photography capabilities. The Leica 115mm ultra-telephoto lens with a periscope structure also supports close-up shooting.
