The adoption of rugged equipment across Europe is driven by its ability to improve productivity, enable mobility and connectivity of data access, support workflow automation and create performance traceability. In Spain, it helps improve operations by increasing productivity, reducing equipment downtime and allowing upgrades of individual components without replacing the entire device.

Currently, 21% of respondents say they spend more than 20% of their IT budget on rugged tools, and 49% plan to increase this investment in the next 12-18 months.
