Car manufacturers discovered CES in Las Vegas years ago and presented their latest achievements. Now that infotainment is becoming more and more important and development cycles are becoming ever shorter, this stage is perfect for corporations. But not everyone is using them yet. Of the German manufacturers, only BMW is on the site.

wide head-up display
BMW has been preparing for the launch of the “New Class” for years – in development departments as well as in the media. This should eventually happen in 2025. At CES, the panoramic display and associated new operating system are likely to be the focus of BMW’s presence. The idea of bringing a holographic head-up display spanning the entire width of the screen in the car has been on Hyundai’s mind for some time. A “holographic display” was developed in collaboration with in-house supplier “Hyundai Mobis”. The main attraction is a thin transparent film as part of the windshield on which the material is projected. This film comes from Zeiss and is only 0.1 mm thick.
Honda and Sony cooperate
Honda is introducing two electric cars based on the new “0 Series platform” in Las Vegas: a crossover and a van-like sedan. Both are coming next year. It will also be exciting to see what happens with the collaboration between Honda and Sony, known as “Sony Honda Mobility Inc.” Look put together. The main part of the study shown in Las Vegas should play only a secondary role. Sony is mainly concerned with connectivity and innovative solutions when handling infotainment. Undoubtedly, entertainment and games are a must for PlayStation parents. You can possibly import your saved games into your car and play games like Gran Turismo 7 or FIFA while stuck in traffic.
Suzuki with a new platform
Suzuki is at CES for the first time. With autonomous driving, the Group is addressing one of the most important topics at this trade fair. Suzuki has teamed up with technology company Applied EV to develop an autonomous electric platform designed for small cars. Robo-vehicles are intended to drive in defined areas and thus counteract the shortage of drivers in the industry. Similarly, a company called Glideways has teamed up with Suzuki to develop an urban transportation system in which small, autonomous vehicles use their own lanes. Even smaller is a versatile architecture for electric micromobility, the basis of which is self-developed technology for electric wheelchairs. The result is robots that operate with artificial intelligence. Examples include the LM-A Lombi automated delivery robot and the V3 snow removal drone implemented by Everblue Technologies.

more performance
Tesla shows off electric cars with greater range. The old idea of solar panels on the body should once again contribute to this. The Model Y modification will not be seen in Las Vegas yet. Zeekar is at CES for the third time in a row and has three models there. Electric ID.Buzz competitor Zeeker Mix scores with autonomous driving functions, to which a variety of sensors contribute, including LiDAR radar. The Zeeker 009 Grand is much more attractive. The luxury version of the electric van has four seats and a high-quality interior. Zeiker is also participating in the general arms race with the 001 FR. He is currently in the lead with 969 kilowatts. There is no end in sight in the medium term.
