Young Company Nothing Just a few minutes ago it has launched a new smartphone model Phone (2A) Plus. Many journalists had marked this date in red on the calendar to know the news of the long-awaited device and to check if it would meet the expectations placed on it. And it has not disappointed. It seems that nothing has been imposed seven league boots To get a good jump in the market and leave behind numerous competitors.

The new device is an evolution of the phone (2A), a terminal that has been a success in sales due to its price-performance ratio. This Plus version enhances three key aspects: performance, camera and design. Equipped with an exclusive processor, the MediaTek 7350 Pro 5G, manages a smooth and fast experience. Likewise, it has incorporated a new sensor 50 MP Front Camera A new range of metallic colours has been designed to work better on selfies, and according to the technical specifications of the device.

“Following the success of the Phone (2a), which brought a breath of fresh air to its market segment and became our best-selling smartphone, we are excited to introduce the Phone (2a) Plus. This new update includes a dedicated processor, an improved front camera and a new metal design. With the Phone (3) launching in 2025, the Phone (2a) Plus is designed for those who love the Phone (2a) but are looking for improved performance.” Carl PeiCEO of Nothing.

Design with new colors

Phone (2A) Plus Features metallic finishes in two new colours: a metallic grey and a redesigned black. It inherits the design of the phone (2A), combining engineering and art. By integrating some of its components into the phone’s configuration, an anthropomorphic appearance is achieved in which the cameras inside the NFC coil represent two eyes located next to the intelligence and communication core, similar to the brain. Thanks to the internal design in the shape of a circular grid, the camera is centered, showing a coherent and attractive appearance that makes the phone (2A) Plus an icon.

Balanced performance

The secret behind its power lies in its MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G processor special for nothing. Keeping in mind the importance of consuming entertainment content in our daily lives, this chipset has been carefully co-designed to achieve user satisfaction and become any gamer’s dream.

Thanks to the TSMC 4nm Zen 2 technology, which has 8 cores running at 3.0 GHz – a CPU about 10% faster than the phone (2A) – it is now possible to use multiple applications at the same time. This is supported by a 1.3 GHz ARM Mali-G610 MC4 GPU, which is 30% faster than the phone (2A) when gaming.

The brand’s Smart Clean technology also plays a vital role in boosting performance by regularly clearing unused system files. As well as NTFS optimization for ultra-fast file transfers, and RAM Booster to effectively expand RAM by up to 20GB.

Powerful camera system

Since the phone (2a) was launched in March, the Nothing team has rolled out seven software updates with numerous camera improvements. These updates support the photography experience by improving color reproduction, saturation, and achieving optimized color consistency. They also optimize the sharpness of out-of-focus images, the loading speed of the camera app, and overall performance.

In short, the new device takes a step forward in photography thanks to the innovative 50 megapixel triple camera system. Its selfie camera can now capture 4K video at 30 fps, which is a hardware improvement compared to the 32 MP sensor of the phone (2A).

It has a 50 MP light-absorbing main sensor with f/1.88 lens, a 50 MP ultra-wide angle with 114º field of view and now a 50 MP front camera for excellent selfies and video calls. All three sensors support direct image capture at 50 MP, HDR photos and 4K video recording.

The main camera overcomes low light conditions thanks to the night mode, obtaining images with practically the same level of detail and color as during the day. The main camera records 4K video with optical image stabilization, electrical image stabilization and action mode, allowing you to record unexpected moments with good results.

Nothing pairs its hardware with cutting-edge software. The TrueLens Engine technology with AI-based Vivid mode incorporates algorithms to achieve realistic photos rich in color and detail. Ultra

Other additional functions are Motion Image, which allows you to capture action scenes without the photo being out of focus; Night Mode, which improves photography in low light; and AI Portrait Optimizer, which allows you to take the best group photos.

Work smarter

With Nothing OS 2.6, the library has been expanded with more functional widgets for more conscious interaction on the home and lock screens. They are complemented by sliding screens and animations to provide a greater level of information.

as a result of Integration with ChatGPAt the beginning of the year, the News Reporter widget was developed, which compiles every day’s top news in a simple and intuitive format and reads it out loud by Nothing’s CFO Tim Holbrow. It is available on all brands of smartphones through the Nothing Widgets application in the Google Play Store.

The phone (2a) Plus comes with Android 14 out of the box, as well as three years of software updates and four years of security updates.

Battery and charging

It has 50W fast charging, which means it can charge for a day’s duration in less than 20 minutes, which is about 10% faster than a phone (2a).

It comes equipped with Nothing’s largest smartphone battery to date, a 5,000mAh source. It’s capable of lasting up to two days on a full charge and is able to retain over 90% of its capacity even after 1,000 charge cycles.

Screen with excellent color rendition

The phone (2a) Plus features a flexible 6.7″ FHD+ AMOLED display with amazingly accurate colour reproduction of 1.07 billion colours. With a maximum brightness of 1300 nits, it ensures good visibility, even when the sun is shining brightly.

With active matrix technology (the AM in AMOLED), the screen has precise control over each pixel, for optimal image quality without draining the battery.

It maintains the thinnest bezels in Nothing’s smartphone range, symmetrically measuring 2.1mm on all four sides of the screen. This translates into an excellent screen-to-body ratio of 91.65%, made possible by combining the flexible panel with a structural engineering system.

Interactions are smooth and fluid thanks to the 120Hz adaptive refresh rate that adjusts to content and the 240Hz touch sampling rate for instant response.

Iconic glyph interface

The back of the phone retains the Glyph interface, a new way of interacting with a smartphone that encourages users to put the screen aside and consult light and sound patterns to see only the most important information. It retains all the features of the Phone (2a), including a timer with Glyph Timer and Glyph Progress Mode, which uses third-party app integration, while brightening up the distinctive new metallic aesthetic of the Phone (2a) Plus.

Reconditioned goods

The use of recycled materials contributes to its sustainable nature. Includes 100% recycled aluminum used in the central frame; 100% recycled tin on 5 circuit boards; 100% recycled copper foil on the main circuit board; recycled steel in 24 pieces of steel stamping; over 50% of plastic parts are sustainably sourced, and plastic waste from the Ear (2) production line is reused in the Phone (2A) Plus.
