With Monday’s presentation of the new iMac M4, Apple has now also cleared up its USB-C input devices – an innovation that observers have long expected. This means that Lightning supporting products have become rare. However, at the same time, there was no new design. The Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpad have not changed in terms of appearance or operation.

Magic Keyboard with USB-C only

A look at the Apple online store shows the new models. The Magic Keyboard, Apple’s wireless Bluetooth keyboard, now has three models with a USB-C socket instead of Lightning. The EU Commission had forced hardware manufacturers to switch to USB-C to create less charger wastage.
