When is Apple Intelligence coming? Developers, users and stock market analysts alike ask themselves this question. Apple had in fact announced that it would begin initial testing for some end user groups in the summer. But the fourth developer beta of iOS 18 is now here and the generative AI system is still not operational. Is there a delay?

“Upcoming beta this summer”
At least it probably won’t happen until July, unless Apple rushes it until next Wednesday. However, it’s more likely that the company will wait until developer beta 5 or 6 to activate at least some AI functions in pre-release versions. According to informed sources, this will happen in an “upcoming beta this summer”, as was originally planned.
