Huge battery, strong design for less than 5G and 200 euros: Fosibot F109 Pro 5G is an exciting outdoor hot tip with small weaknesses.
The outdoor smartphone does not need to be expensive. Fossibot F109 Pro sets 5G evidence. For 185 Euro (Code: Bgec34f0)) IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certification, a huge battery and a strong housing with 5G mobile radio. It also stands alternatively: the second performance on the back reminds of much more expensive equipment and brings practical additional functions.
But wherever savings are made, weaknesses are also clear. Our detailed test makes it clear whether the cheap outdoor mobile phone still assures in everyday life.
design
The Fossibot F109 Pro comes in a specific eight-edge look of an outdoor smartphone. The workmanship looks high quality and strong. The frame is made of metal and screws. The device is also given rubber on corners and edges to be exclusively shocked. A certificate is available for MIL-STD-810H. The outdoor mobile phone shows itself strong, we have dropped it several times from the height of the breast to the hard ground.
The back is made of shiny plastic in the piano look-informal for an external device. However, it is very receptive to fingers. The upper third has a large round element with the second display. Camera lenses are arranged all around.
The shaft for the SIM card on the side and the USB-C connection below is also covered by a rubber wash. The device is also dust and waterproofing according to the highest type of safety. So it can remain permanently underwater and can be cleaned under high pressure – even with warm water.
With dimensions of 176.1 × 81.7 × 18.5 mm, it is much larger than the simple smartphone and is almost twice thicker with finger width. Compared to other rugged phones, it looks almost slim. The weight of 385 grams is quite high, which is caused by a large battery. On the right, using power buttons and volume rockers, there is a program worthy red button in the opposite direction.
Fossibot F109 Pro 5G – Image Series
Display
Fossibot F109 Pro 5G offers a large performance with 6.75 inch proud diagonal. The IPS panel offers excellent image quality with rich colors and well -coordinated contradictions. The angles of view are stable with all layers.
However, the resolution with 1600 × 720 pixels leaves for something desired. Full HD would have been desirable here. Looking closely, you can see the pixel. The latest rate is 60 Hz. To read out, this is not enough. Very bad, because an outdoor mobile phone should be used exclusively in open air.
The round with the IPS panel on the back is a second display and a 1.32 -inch diagonal with a resolution of 360 × 360 pixels. It mainly serves to display widgets. The brightness can be regulated only in three stages. The screen is activated through a double tip or through the programmable button.
By default, a watch can be found on another display. If you wipe the left, you reach the compass and then for a camera scene. This allows you to make selfies with the main camera – but only in square format. There is also an advertisement of a timer, an audio recorder, music player and battery level. Notifications are not visible automatically – apps have to be chosen manually, not everyone is supported. You wipe upwards and join the information.
Quarrel
The main camera of Fossibot F109 Pro 5G uses a 50 -megapixel image sensor HI5021 by HYNix with a panel of F/1.8. It is complemented by Samsung S5K4E8 sensor and 5-megapixel macrolinus with f/2.2 aperture. Two and “lenses” on the back are pure dummy. The front camera sits in a waterdrop notch, dissolves with 16 megapixels and uses Sony IMX471 (aperture f/2.4).
By default, the main camera summarizes four pixels in one (pixel bining), which creates 12.5 megapixel photos. Full resolution can also be used on request. Accepted photos with strong colors are made in daylight. However, the lens is sensitive to sunlight, which leads to oversexed shots. In addition, recording is often out of care, even with minimal movements. Leave something to be desired image details. The switched Bokeh effect looks artificial and impure.
In the event of poor lighting, the camera fails despite the night mode – strong image dominates the noise recording. Due to low resolution, macrolinus rarely provides any details and mostly blurred images with poor set focus. The selfie camera is also not convinced: photos pel appears, a bokeh is missing, and the beauty filter clearly looks very artificial. Videos with the main and front camera are also disappointing- blurred, blurred and recognizable image without stabilization.
Fossibot F109 Pro 5G – Basic Recording
equipment
The Fossibot F109 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Demistance 6300. The processor matters everyday tasks without any problem, the system runs smoothly and largely smoothly. Even simple game is not a problem. On the other hand, the graphic performance is weak: the device only reaches 1,400 points for the 3DMark Wild-Life benchmark.
RAM is 8 GB RAM, internal memory is generous at 256 GB. An expansion is possible through microSD card, but only when you do without dual sim function. The GPS module works with accuracy of about two meters (according to GPS test), but a certain time is required to stabilize. An e-cumbers and a gyroscope are also installed.
A highlight in this price range: Fossibot F109 Pro supports 5G. With WiFi, the manufacturer now depends on some old Wi-Fi 5-which is not uncommon in this segment. Type-C connection only works with a slow USB 2.0 standard.
An FM radio is integrated, but wired headphones are required compared to an antenna-A problem because the device does not have a jack connection. Bluetooth 5.2 with LDAC, AAC and SBC and NFC are available for wireless connections. Sound quality is fine while calling.

As an additional swabble operating gestures, you can make a screenshot with three fingers and activate the screen by double typing.
At the time of testing in early March, the security patch still comes from October 2024 – a fairly old position.

In everyday life, three to four days are easy with general use. When hiking or long external activities, the battery is a little rapid empty, but there is enough reserve to get well through the day. conclusion
Fossibot F109 Pro 5G is a very inexpensive outdoor cell phone with a large battery. It has 5G, which is still rare in the price range. Performance is enough for everyday life, housing is used to be strong. Although it is much more spacious than ordinary smartphones, it is not highly thick than other external phones.
There are cuts on performance, it is relatively dark and difficult to read out of the open. In addition, it only dissolves in HD. The camera is not fully convinced and is especially weak with the sharpness of the image and shots in the dark. For a strong outdoor smartphone, Fossibot F109 Pro 5G still provides a good price-demonstration ratio.
