Photos of climbers on the mountain wall are unimaginable for people from fear of heights. Braeling pictures at the bottom in the valley, however, require more than a stable abdomen, as they climb in front of their model or rope from above.

For Claus Fengler, the most important aspect for successful climbing photos, such as usually for all sports photos, “This is that you have a clue about the game.” It also has safety aspects while climbing, because if you come to the wall with your camera, you will quickly become a safety risk for yourself and others. Therefore it is important to actually assess your own skills and know the rules.

for beginners
For beginners, climbing professional recommends simple routes or first photos of bouldering that only is about four meters.
