However, the successor season of “Ahsoka” was officially confirmed for early 2024, according to a Report from TechRadar There are still a lot of speculations and rumors about the official start date, cast, and plot of the next season.

Dave Filoni, the series’ creator and showrunner and Lucasfilm’s chief creative officer, said in June 2024 that he is currently fully focused on developing the second season of “Ahsoka”. However, filming may be delayed because Filoni and “The Mandalorian” series creator Jon Favreau are also working on a film called “The Mandalorian & Grogu”, which will go into production this year and be released in theaters in May 2026.

If this film is given priority, filming on the second season of “Ahsoka” may not begin until mid or late 2025. It would then not be expected to air on Disney+ until late 2026. Fans will probably have to wait a little longer to continue following the adventures of Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren.

“Ahsoka” has received some positive reviews and has garnered a devoted fan base, which may have also inspired Disney Plus to consider a sequel. The story of Jedi warrior Ahsoka Tano, played by Rosario Dawson, also offers great potential for further stories in the “Star Wars” universe.
