Poco X7 is followed by Redmi Note 14 series. Xiaomi has started the year with two of its affordable product families, in the case of Redmi there are five different smartphones. Only three of them support 5G mobile networks.
The top model of the five-pack has the longest name: Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G. The smartphone with a metal frame and synthetic leather back is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, which can access 8 or 12 GB of RAM, depending on the model. The housing, which is protected against dust and water as per IP68, features a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2712 x 1220 pixels. Samsung specifies the maximum point brightness as 3000 cd/m², but it will not reach this value in regular operation.
The smartphone sports a 200-megapixel main camera at the back, 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle and 2-megapixel macro, and a 20-megapixel selfie camera at the front. The battery of the 5G smartphone, which also supports programmable eSIM, has a capacity of 5110 mAh and charges at a maximum of 120 watts. A suitable quick charger is included in the scope of delivery. Xiaomi wants to provide the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G, as well as the other two Pro models, with three new Android versions and four years of security patches – and thus beyond the five-year deadline given by the EU after sales end Will remain below. Need in future.
The price of Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G is also in the mid-range and is priced at 499.90 euros for the 8/256 GB memory configuration. Xiaomi charges 30 euros more for the model with 12/512 GB, which should be worth it for the larger memory.

Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G without Plus with weak chip
Technically largely identical and only slightly modified in appearance, the Redmi Note 14 Pro joins the 5G Plus model. It shares the display, camera, memory and battery with the Pro+. However, it has a slightly weaker chip on board, the MediaTek Dimensity 7300.
Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G is also available in two storage sizes. Its price with 8/256 GB is 399.90 euros, for 449.90 euros you can get it with 12/512 GB of memory.

The third Redmi Note 14 Pro not only doesn’t have Plus, it doesn’t even have 5G in its name. It only works in LTE networks and hence is at a disadvantage compared to some cheaper smartphones. Xiaomi has fitted this model with the same camera as the other Pro models, but the display is the same size and has a slightly lower resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) and doesn’t have the same brightness (maximum 1800 cd/m² point brightness). ). However, the OLED screen also supports 120Hz frame rate.
The Note 14 Pro uses the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra as the processor. At 5500 mAh, its battery is slightly stronger than its two brothers, but only charges at a maximum of 45 watts. The device does not have IP authentication.
Xiaomi sells Redmi Note 14 Pro with 8/256 GB memory for 349.90 euros; There are currently no additional memory versions planned for Germany. Despite good features overall, it’s not particularly cheap for a smartphone without a 5G modem.
two smartphones without pro
Xiaomi offers two basic variants for the three Pro models. The Redmi Note 14 5G has the same display as the Note 14 Pro, but the manufacturer specifies a maximum brightness of 2100 cd/m² here. The biggest compromise compared to the Pro model has to do with the camera; It has a maximum resolution of only 108 megapixels and a less elaborate lens design with six instead of seven lenses. The Redmi Note 14 5G, which supports 5G but does not have an eSIM, also has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle and a 2-megapixel macro. It is protected according to IP64, so it can withstand dust and dirt, but can only withstand splashes of water, not submersion. This model gets four years of security patches and only two major Android updates.
Redmi Note 14 5G is priced at 299.90 euros, the smartphone is only available in 8/256 GB storage version. As with all new Redmis, in this case a charger with 45 W output is included in the scope of delivery.

The quintet is completed by the Redmi Note 14, the second model without a 5G modem. It also has a MediaTek chip, the Helio G99 Ultra, which can access 6 or 8 GB of RAM. Even the cheapest of the five models has an OLED display with 120Hz and 1800 cd/m² brightness. The 108-megapixel main camera is the same as the Note 14 5G, with the ultra-wide angle falling victim to a 2-megapixel depth camera. Curious: the weakest and cheapest new Redmi smartphones get the longest updates, namely six years of security patches and four new Android versions.
With a price of 199.90 euros, the version with 6/128 GB is the cheapest. For 229.90 euros you get the Redmi Note 14 with 8 GB of RAM instead of 6 GB, and for 249.90 euros the internal memory is also increased to 256 GB.
