The most important thing is that the number of votes has increased from four to five. Enhanced polyphony allows you to play more complex chords or simply create denser sound images. The Arpeggiator is provided with a Hold function in the ARP menu. This means that it will continue to run, even if the keys have already been released. There is now also a chord mode that plays individually pressed keys with selectable harmonies – major, minor, octave and others. Behringer notes that both features are disabled in sequencer mode.
Many new and useful effects
A portmanteau effect can be activated in the oscillator menu, which “slidingly” adjusts the pitch of successive notes. However, “FX Engine” has been newly added to the system menu. Until now there was only the chorus effect on the board, which was adjustable with two knobs. This can now be changed in Reverb and Ensemble to enable new sounds. As for the sound – it should be much better due to the modification of the DCA model; Behringer explains that this results in extended dynamic control and seamless sound transitions.
