On the weekend of November 9 and 10, 2024, photo lovers can visit the stands of camera manufacturers, travel providers and many other exhibitors at “Photo+Adventure” in the Pyramid Vienna/Wossendorf. Workshops are also part of the support programme. Speakers include well-known names such as Bastian Werner and Sandra Petrovitz.

Tickets are available in advance for 16 euros, but they are four euros more expensive at the box office. Additional costs apply for seminars and workshops and must be booked separately. More information is available at P+A Austria website,
P+A Duisburg gives up
Things look different at the sister fair in Duisburg compared to Vienna. For ten years, photo enthusiasts, exhibitors and providers met for workshops in the landscape park of Photo+Adventure. Although, according to the organizer, a visitor record was set in 2024, the event is now coming to an end – at least in this form.
The organizer says that in the years after Corona, it has become difficult to explain the concept of the event to the exhibitors and no further trade fair can be held. Following the demise of Photokina and Photopia in recent years, P+A is the next example of how this type of product presentation is becoming less interesting for manufacturers.
However, the P+A team will continue to deliver online seminars and lectures, and there will be a workshop weekend in the Duisburg Landscape Park from April 25 to 27, 2025, replacing at least part of the festival.
The Austrian equivalent of P+A in Vienna remains unchanged.
