Kim Kardashian news in the consumer electronics sector: the influencer star is collaborating on a third product with Apple subsidiary Beats. This project is again about the special colors that Kardashian chose according to Beats – velvet of course. matching advertising clipAt least Apple doesn’t charge any extra money for the “Kim Special Edition” models, which also cost the same as usual at 169.95 euros. This time Kardashian called the colors – surprisingly simply – “dark brown” and “light brown.” They stand next to the three standard colors “matte black”, “signal red” and “champagne” and therefore look almost neutral.

It can be imagined that Kardashian broke up with her love Minimalist concrete buildings by Japanese architect Tadao Ando Was inspired by – but not specifically stated. After all, the last three “Kim” paint schemes weren’t adopted for nothing. “The elegant colors were developed with functionality and style in mind, as the Beats Pill impresses as both an ideal party companion and unique attention-grabber in any room,” Apple writes in its press release.

The two more neutral special colors are certainly of interest to customers if they have not yet liked the standard paint finish. As also shown in Mac&i testing, the Beats Pill speakers deliver great sound despite their small size. The two devices can be combined to create a (then still) louder overall package (“amplifier mode”), or alternatively combined into a stereo combination. The connection is via Bluetooth and the running time should be up to a day.

As with Beats devices, they work with Apple hardware just as well as Android devices, and there’s even a separate app for the latter. It is charged via USB-C. As always, the Kardashian shades are unlikely to remain on the program permanently. The new Beats Pill variants will be available in stores from Friday.
