in the iX workshop OWASP Top 10: Understand critical web application security risks Tobias Glemser explains and demonstrates the weak points and their implications in the top 10 rankings. You will not only learn about the risks, but you will also learn how you can detect and fix vulnerabilities in your IT to protect yourself from cyber attacks and data theft. This is a basic workshop, no prior knowledge of web application security is required.

Security expert Tobias Glemser leads this workshop. In his work as a BSI-certified penetration tester and OWASP German chapter lead, the managing director of IT security company Secuvera has extensive practical experience.

The workshop will take place as an interactive online training course over two mornings on September 17 and 18, 2024 and is aimed at developers, product owners, security managers, software architects, and administrators. A basic understanding of web applications as well as basic knowledge of programming and information security is required.
