In addition to cordless vacuum cleaners and robot vacuum cleaners, Eureka also manufactures vacuum mops. One of the new models is the New430, which aims to score points with a comprehensive overall package at an affordable price.
Time is a valuable commodity and it is very obvious to organize annoying tasks like homework as efficiently as possible. The Eureka New430 RapidWash Cordless Wet Dry Cleaner promises to make mopping a breeze. In this review, we will take a detailed look at the performance and functionality of this device and check whether it can withstand the tough competition in the market.
Design and equipment
Eureka New430 is great because of its slim and modern design. The manufacturer relies on a fairly cylindrical look, which is largely reminiscent of older Dream models like the Dream H11 Max (test report) and which we like. However, with dimensions of 112 x 27 x 28 cm and a weight of only 3.7 kg, it is much more delicate and does not look as huge as the mentioned competitors. The fresh water container located on the top can hold 800 ml of water, while the dirty water container, which can be removed from the bottom and front, can hold 450 ml.
The display position is impractical. Because the screw-on fresh water container sits on top of the body, the small display is located in the front center, not at the top of the device like most competitors. This makes it difficult to read the screen easily during use, especially because the content does not rotate. It can only be read correctly when you look at the display from the front. The battery indicator is only shown in some vague ring parts around the small display anyway, so only a rough estimate is possible. The last bar is displayed in red, and the vacuum cleaner turns off shortly after.
The rest is similar to the competition. The wiping roller of the mop head comes almost to the edge on the right side, leaving a few centimeters free on the other side. There is no LED light on the mop head.

Demonstration of cleanliness in everyday life
The Eureka New430 combines vacuuming and wiping in one device – a typical vacuum mop. The suction power of 15,000 Pa ensures that wet and dry dirt and dust are effectively picked up, while the mopping function ensures thorough cleaning of hard floors. It worked great in testing, and the wiping result was very similar. The Eureka New430 doesn’t just handle stubborn stains any better.
What stands out positively is the smooth operation, which makes operation very easy. We find the lack of an LED light on the mop head a bit of a shame. The display arrangement described above is actually impractical, it is barely visible during operation. It displays the current operating mode and status of the device. Operation is intuitive and allows quick adjustment of turbo, eco and dry cleaning modes. As usual with vacuum mops, the dry mode is not intended to vacuum carpets, but to vacuum liquids.
However, adding a fresh water container is different, but not impractical. It is not inserted like the competition, but screwed onto the top of the device’s body. A lid also needs to be opened for filling. Nothing leaked here.
A practical feature of the Eureka New430 is the self-cleaning function. After each use, the device informs you via English voice output that self-cleaning must be activated and the waste water tank must be emptied. Once triggered, the brush roller automatically cleans into the base station. Then active drying occurs, but only with cold air. This process is relatively fast and involves us all in the same room.
Battery
The wireless operation of the Eureka New430 provides maximum flexibility. This is achieved by a 2600 mAh battery, which gives a play time of up to 17 minutes in turbo mode. In Eco mode it ends after only 30 minutes. Something to note here: Purely in terms of noise, Turbo mode is no stronger than Eco mode. In addition, the frequency of motor noise gradually decreases during operation, and performance appears to decrease slightly as the battery charge decreases.
This is a bit lower than the competition, but should be enough for most homes. Charging time is about 4 hours, which is about average for comparable devices. Meanwhile the power required per full charge is approximately 0.1 kWh.
price
With a price of around €259, the Eureka New430 is in the mid price range. At the time of testing the price of the device was around 220 euros.
conclusion
Overall, the Eureka New430 Cordless Wet Dry Cleaner proves to be a good package for daily floor cleaning. Its strength lies in its good mobility and good cleaning performance at an affordable price. It provides a perfect time-saving solution primarily for homes with hard floors and pets, but there are some points of criticism. These include a poor display, lack of LED light on the mop head, and a vigorous drying process using only cool air.
