Apple’s next big iPhone launch will likely be the iPhone SE 4, the latest incarnation of the entry-level smartphone. The revised hardware is currently expected to appear in spring 2025, possibly March or April. Now there is new speculation about the hardware equipment: in Asia, the first manufacturers of iPhone cases have introduced products suitable for the new model. New interior, old look: a little newer than before
At present, it is expected that the iPhone SE 4 will be based on the design of the standard iPhone 14 model. For the first time, it will have an OLED screen with a (relatively) modern housing and dynamic island. On the other hand, the internal workings should be completely new: possibly the Apple A18 for Apple Intelligence and – for the first time – Apple’s own 5G, WLAN and Bluetooth chips (the company has been working on this for several years). As always, the new SE 4 will likely be on the market for years. The current SE 3 is from 2022, the previous model is from 2020. The company could try to reduce the price to 530 euros – this is a lot of money in the Android sector, but for iPhones this is an entry-level tariff. For comparison: for the iPhone 16 in the smallest version without contract you pay at least 949 euros.
