Attention, updates: Apple has introduced minor updates to its operating systems for three of its devices. Unfortunately, the company is once again holding back from providing specifics about the content — at least for two of the three updates.

No security fixes
tvOS 17.6.1 has been available for download since Tuesday night. It comes a few weeks after tvOS 17.6, which was made available in late July. As is unfortunately often the case with tvOS, Apple does not provide any details. Like Apple’s official fixes, security-related fixes are apparently not included Security Updates Website appear. The update is installed as usual through the MultimediaBox settings menu in the “System” area. If automatic updating is activated, it will be downloaded and installed in the coming weeks. The minimum requirements are Apple TV HD or 4K (all generations).
watchOS 10.6.1, which was also released on Tuesday night, comes with an instruction manual. It is said to fix a problem here that prevents the use of Apple’s paid sports service Fitness+ with the watch. Apple did not provide any further information about when the error occurred – there were no reports about this beforehand. watchOS 10.6, like tvOS 17.6, was released in late July. The update can be installed through the Watch app on an iPhone or through a computer watch. To install the update, the device must be on a charger and have at least 50 percent battery status. According to Apple, watchOS 10.6.1 also does not contain any security fixes. It can be used from Apple Watch Series 4 onwards.
New build for iOS 17.6.1
Finally, Apple also (re)released iOS 17.6.1. It was actually released – alongside iPadOS 17.6.1 and macOS 14.6.1 – on August 7 to fix a related issue. Enhanced iCloud privacy to fix. As Macromars reported, there is now A new build with number 21G101Earlier it was 21G93.
