After months of battling between Apple, Nvidia and Microsoft over the position of the company with the highest market capitalization in global markets, Apple once again managed to become the most valuable company on Tuesday. Analysts said Apple is benefiting from its AI strategy, even though it has not been implemented yet. So the market expects iPhone sales to increase significantly as a result.

Positive environment among banks
Apple shares ended trading yesterday at 1.1 $234.82 rate. This corresponds to a “market cap” of $3.6 trillion on the New York technology exchange NASDAQ. In second place on Tuesday were Microsoft with $3.34 trillion and Nvidia with $3.1 trillion, followed comparatively far behind by Alphabet/Google with $2.28 trillion and Amazon with $2 trillion. While Apple’s price increased by 0.18 percent, Microsoft, Nvidia and Alphabet/Google declined during the day – by 0.98, 1.62 and 1.43 percent.
Things got even better for Apple on Monday. Morgan Stanley Bank had selected Apple shares as a “top pick” – specifically for the reasons mentioned, the AI strategy and the resulting device sales. The market capitalization rose to $3.62 trillion during trading on Monday. Overall, Apple has managed to gain 20 percent in market value since January. The company had waited a long time to share its ideas in the field of generative artificial intelligence, but then did so at its WWDC 2025 developer meeting in early June.
Nobody knows yet how Apple’s intelligence works
The current excitement on the stock exchange – as is the case in stock markets – is clearly directed towards the future. Apple Intelligence functions cannot yet be tested even by participants in Apple’s iOS 18 beta phase. In addition, only parts of the range of functions will be available at the start, and the language selection is limited to US English. In Europe, Apple initially intends to hold off due to the EU Commission’s action against Apple Intelligence Company.
The services, which include text generation, image generation, and a significantly improved voice assistant Siri, will only run on certain devices. For Mac and iPad there are all models with the M1 SoC and above, but for iPhones there are only the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max and possibly all iPhone 16 models that are expected to arrive in the fall.
