No classic update button
Now the official path documented does not provide for a classic update mechanism, for example as a button in the settings of iPhone. Instead, interested users will have to bring at least half an hour to the update. According to media reports, Apple itself uses a special tool in its own workshops.
In the first phase, it is important to bring airpods in the Bluetooth range of your own iPhone, iPads or Mac connected through Wlan. Airpods should then be placed in a charging case and the case was closed. It is now important to connect the loading case to a charging plug or USB port of the device via USB cable. Closed loading case has to hang “on the connector” for at least 30 minutes to install new firmware. Users should then open the flap of the case and re -add airpods to iPhone, iPad or Mac and check the firmware version.
If the path does not give success
If the described process does not get success, apple recommends resetting the airpods and then repeats the update process.
The principle of putting airpods in the case, connecting and waiting for electricity was described by users as the correct way before the announcement of Apple. In preliminary reactions, Desire once again said that Apple should still introduce a button in future settings to be able to start manual updates in a target and reliable manner.
