Using artificial intelligence and supported by an app, the Smart Masala Dispenser Spicer aims to detect its user’s individual tastes. According to the manufacturer, it “customizes spices and recipes to suit your favorite flavors for a personalized cooking experience.”

It looks like a futuristic pepper mill and has six interchangeable spice capsules. Business Model: A capsule machine that requires you to get supplies continuously. The manufacturer promises a hygienic cooking experience without clumpy powder and dirty measuring spoons. The capsules are packed airtight and are intended to preserve the aroma of the spices.

There is a touch display on the top of the dispenser that you can use to select the seasoning. A switch, which you hold on the handle with several fingers like a hand blender, allows the selected capsule to rotate and release the flavoring agent.

A touch display on the top of the device shows the spices loaded. For example, a tap of the finger selects a chili, and pressing the switch on the side pulls it out from the bottom.

In the app you can choose from internet recipes or upload your own. The second step after choosing a recipe is to load the required capsules. The dispenser automatically dispenses the dose according to the prescription. Unfortunately, the world does not work in such a way that a magazine with six cartridges is enough for Indian, Italian and middle-class German cooking. When you purchase the Essentials Kit, the manufacturer supplies twelve capsules including chili flakes, ginger, cinnamon, cumin, thyme, and oregano.

In the Essential Kit the manufacturer intends to deliver a total of twelve spice capsules in two boxes.

Over time, Spicer aims to learn the preferences of its users, what dishes and flavors they like and what spices they dislike. Spicer customizes recipes according to app data and suggests suitable dishes. For example, if you cook a recipe from Jamie Oliver but he likes it particularly spicy, the spicer will add the seasoning accordingly.

The associated app lists existing spices and suggests recipes.
