Mohan writes, “The new ‘television’ does not look like old ‘television.” “It is interactive and contains things like shorts (yes, they are seen on TV), podcast and live stream, sports, sitcom and talk shows right next to.”

YouTube’s upwing on television means new interest from advertising partners, Mohan says. YouTube is still busy developing new advertising formats that do ideal work on TV – such as advertising during QR code or playback brake.
