Katherine Yang, the woman behind the English-language website prose dramaDescribes her site as a “poetic device”. In the playground you write text in a simple markup language with optional sections; Three examples give an initial idea of how it works. Detailed explanation can be found in the area marked “Learn”.
For the screenshots on the site, we expanded Christian Morgenstern’s poem “The Aesthetic Whistle” with additional text. The poem, which in the original began as “A mongoose / sitting on a pebble”, then began like this:

saß (auf einem Kiesel|im Eismeer)Once your text is completely typed in the editor window, click the Parse button. The finished poem then appears in the output window, showing either all type or just an alternative text. In the individual view, after each click on the Random button, one of the options is set repeatedly for each variable text path.
Yang has the code for his website on github Published. Morgenstern would certainly have enjoyed prose drama.
