President Donald Trump gives Ticketkok another time limit in the United States. Despite an American law, the short video app should be available for another 75 days in the country, Trump ordered. According to the law, Tikkok will have to be sold by the China -based owner by January 19 or from the network in the USA. But Trump accepted a 75 -day grace period to take over in January, which ends on 5 April.
Politicians and experts in the United States fear that the Chinese government may spy on Americans through Tiktok or manipulate the public opinion. Companies reject it. If necessary, Trump is also likely to expand the deadline repeatedly – although there is no basis in the law. However, the first 75 days were not covered by the document: it only gave a delay of 90 days in the position of the sale negotiations.
Trump and Vice President JD Vance had given air to expectations in the last few days that a solution for Tikkok could be in principle before the time limit on Saturday. Now Trump has written in his online platform Truth Social that the deal needs more work to get all the necessary approval.

Package solution with tariffs?
Trump had already promised less additional tariffs for China, which is in exchange for the approval of the Chinese government for sale. He admitted that Beijing may have said “possibly” in the deal. Trump recently said, “Maybe I will give you a little deficiency in tariff or something similar.” Each percent of the tariff is worth higher than the short video platform. Now Trump once again told that China was “not happy” about its additional duties.
The figure of the deal already in media reports
In the last few days, it was stated in media reports that according to the Trump Plan, the American business should be divided into a new company called “Tickk America”. Software group Oracle as well as financial companies Blackstone and Andresen Horovitz were in the race for the role of leadership on a US tie-lakomotive. Meanwhile, China established a rule in Trump’s first term that the government’s consent is necessary for the sale of algorithms abroad.
