E-fatbikes combine the benefits of e-mountne bike and e-city bikes. Your coarse tires have more profile and contact surfaces than normal MTB tires. The structure of Duot S26 requires some screwdriver. The bike weighs 42 kg and is 190 × 113 × 71 cm. The maximum payload is 150 kg of civilized. It is protected against splash water according to the IPX4. Plastic trees look a bit cheap. After all, they are there and keep the worst dirt away from the driver.

Ergonically shaped handle unfortunately slightly slide on the handber. There is no way to fix it. On/off buttons on the left, there is a button to switch between two buttons for the choice of support mode and one or both engines.

Another button operates the electrical horn, which is not allowed in Germany. It fits that a normal bell is missing. A tiping switch activates light.

The performance of large colors in the middle shows something, but can be read passive even when the sun rays are there. It provides information about speed, kilometer of day, total kilometer, travel time and more.

Due to its high weight, Duotts ​​S26 is not for beginners. The seating position is pleasant straight and not very sporty. There is also enough space for big drivers.

The saddle is very soft padded and thick 4 inch wide tires on the 26 -inch rims also springs several bumps. This also applies to suspension fork in front and rear suspension, which further increases driving comfort. The suspension fork can be blocked if necessary, but the starch cannot be adjusted.

Two hub engines in the front and rear wheels are unusual. There is no engine in the middle, even if it looks like this at first glance. The engine performs 750W and 65 Nm each.

Motor electronics do not regulate very sensitively. The drive begins only after a complete pedal rotation – but then with full force. There is no intermediate level. The front wheel sometimes turns on gravel.

Electricity can be better put on the throttle. However, as already mentioned, it is only allowed to move away from public roads and routes.

Both engine areas have a real blessing. Especially on trails with several roots you can get from everywhere. Practically there is no climb that Duotts ​​S26 does not pack. Due to high weight, there is a demand for handling.

In support level 5, Duotts ​​S26 exceeds 50 km/h. It sounds very quickly and sometimes insecure. Especially on the streets of dirt, everything is quite staggering. We were worried that the cheap components leave the mind on the whole throat and then you can fall. A helmet is definitely mandatory here.

Hydraulic disc brakes work very well. After a small brake phase, they pack strictly and can be well dose.

With a capacity of 960 WH, the removable battery is one of the largest in the market. According to Duotts, it should be adequately electrically for 50 – 60 km. However, it was determined in ideal conditions: level route, 25 ° C, hardly no air, low driver weight and moderate speed.

In real use with gradients, gravel, headwind and full engine power, we still proud 40 km. If you are continuously on the road, you have to correct the border.
