More data volume for telecom customers: Magentamobil mobile phone tariffs allow significantly higher data volumes than before. Prices will not be increased. Also new is an entry-level tariff called Magentamobil Basic, which includes 5 GB of data volume including 5G and free telephony on all German networks for 25 euros per month. The new conditions will come into force on August 1.

Telekom has doubled the data volume included with its existing MagentaMobil tariffs:
- Magentamobil S will now offer 20 GB instead of 10 GB for 40 euros per month.
- In the future, Magentamobil M will offer 40 GB instead of 20 GB for 50 euros per month.
- Magentamobil L will now offer 80 GB instead of 40 for 60 euros per month.
Magentamobil XL with international data volume
The MagentaMobil XL tariff remains largely unchanged. Here customers will continue to get unlimited data volume for 85 euros per month. However, what is new is 5 GB data volume per month for internet usage abroad Country Groups 2 and 3 – These include Türkiye, America and Canada.
This means that all Telekom customers get some benefits that were previously exclusive to Magenta customers. These are people who combine a mobile contract and a Telekom landline contract. You are already able to use twice the data volume in the MagentaMobil tariff.
So that MagentaEins customers also benefit in the future, they receive a new benefit: One hour of unlimited data volume is available every day during the “Mobile Happy Hour”. This applies to MagentaEins users of the MagentaMobil tariffs Basic, S and M. Anyone who has booked the IPTV service MagentaTV gets two hours of happy hour every day. MagentaMobil contract L is excluded because MagentaEins customers can use unlimited data volume anyway with this tariff. Nothing changes about that.

Telecom is also improving roaming. With the introduction of improved mobile phone tariffs, phone calls to non-EU countries will become cheaper. In the future, such calls will be charged a flat rate of only 29 cents per minute.
