Fe 16mm F1.8 G: compact ultra wide-angle lens
The compact wide-angle lens with its large open aperture offers many creative opportunities.
(Image: Soni)
Fe 16mm F1.8 g is an ultra-wide angle lens with a maximum aperture of f/1.8. It provides a high resolution and an attractive bokeh that is supported by a spherical aperture with eleven slats. Two advanced aspherical (AA) lens reduce malformations and vision. A super-add glass element and three ED elements reduce color aberration. Sony depends on 15 lenses in a total of twelve groups. These features make the lens ideal for dynamic wide -angle shots. The interaction with a large open aperture and a close range of 15 centimeters especially enables creative approach.
The lens is compact and light, with a weight of 304 grams and dimensions of 73.8 mm × 75 mm. It is equipped with a quick and accurate autofocus, operated by two XD linear motors. These engines should ensure cool and low -vebration focus.
For video recording, lens provides a low focus braking function with compatible cameras that should enable liquid recording. The click function of the aperture ring can be deactivated through the aperture restore.
The lens is compatible with a 67 mm standard filter and can be easily balanced on a gimbal. Due to a seal against dust and splash water, the wide angle is also ready for use in adverse conditions. Focus stoppage can be used to use cameras with various tasks.

Fe 400-800 mm F6.3-8 G Oss: Super-Talezom
Fe 400-800 mm F6.3-8 G Oss you are not on the road. Detailed optical structure promises a high imaging performance.
(Image: Soni)
Fe 400-800 mm F6.3-8 G Oss is the first G-Lens from Sony with an 800 mm super telezom range. It provides a high resolution on the entire zoom area and a natural bokeh. Six ed glass elements reduce color deviations, while a spherical aperture with eleven slats is considered to make a soft bokeh. There is a high effort in error improvement in Sony and sets 27 lenses in 19 groups for high imaging performance.
The lens is equipped with an internal zoom design, which keeps the length of the lens stable in zooming and thus ensures stable handling. It is compatible with 1.4-fold and 2-fold television verticals that can expand the focal length up to 1600 millimeters. However, the aperture also doubles, so that with the longest focal length, only an open aperture of F/16 is possible.
Two accurately linear motors are asked to offer a quick and accurate autofocus, which makes a step at the chain image speed of Alpha 9 III of 120 frames per second. The integrated optical steadyshot image stabilizer facilitates hand-directed shots without blurred color. Like wide-angle lenses, zoom breathing provides compensation. With appropriate cameras, it should reduce unwanted image changes during focus.
With dimensions of 120 mm × 346 mm and 2475 grams weight, the super zoom is neither small nor lighter. So that the dimensions are still manageable, Sony depends on the selected focal length, depending on some extent weakened open aperture between F/6.3 and F/8.0. An adjustable clamp ensures a balanced weight delivery when using the tripod. Many seal lenses are insensitive to dust and splatter water. Three focus stoppers distributed through the lens tube can be used to use the camera with an alternative function.
