Presentation Skoda Kodiak RS: Strengthen top model without hybrid

For many years, Skoda has been so successful with RS offshoots of various models that it is almost surprising that not everyone is offered with such a version. After the introduction of the revised Octavia RS in Autumn 2024, the order for the new Kodiak RS will follow the approval. It follows the subtle recurrence of the design and the well -known pattern with the strongest drive in this SUV.

Target group

Skoda has avoided giving top models of SUVs with all types of spoilers. Demonstration to the front side civil model, which appears slightly forest with large cooling air openings, most clearly. No hybrid

The two-liter four-cylinder produces 195 kW and provides a maximum torque of 400 Nm, between 1650 and 4350 rpm. All -wheel drive is the same as double clutch transmission. It is a gears called DQ381 internally called seven gears, whose clutches run in the bath. In standard sprints, 6.3 seconds are sufficient, it is finished at 231 km/h as Skoda has installed an electronic range. The tank has 58 liters, of which the SUV in the WLTP approves every 100 km between 8.2 and 8.5 liters every 100 km. The drive does not bring hybridization.

Internal competition

Kodiak RS is introduced from 57,900 euros, and standard equipment is rich. The list of potential extra is low, but a few thousands are goods to move the price. Larger goods include parking heating (1190 euros), large sliding roof (1300 euro), third line of seats (1320 euros) and free boards for 1110 euros. The direct contestant of Kodiak RS must be counted, Anyak 85x, which provides another 15 kW and plays financially in a uniform league. Even if you need it, you can hope that Skoda will also offer the modified Anyak again as RS. The drive should correspond to being already introduced in other models on this platform. The system output is 250 kW, the maximum torque is at 545 nm.
