BetterCode() PHP celebrates its anniversary: the online conference on the PHP programming language is taking place for the fifth time. In collaboration with PHP.cc, iX and dpunkt.verlag are establishing BetterCode() PHP 2024 out of. This year the focus is on the upcoming 8.4 release, which is scheduled to appear on the conference day, November 21, 2024. In addition, the year 2025 will bring with it some innovations, for example PHPUnit 12. The topic of software supply chain (including SBOM) is also becoming increasingly important. BetterCode() PHP 2024 helps its participants to free their PHP applications from legacy problems and check them for best practices.

The programme includes six lectures by selected experts – the conference day concludes with an expert panel at the end of the day. Here participants have the opportunity to ask any questions that remain unanswered.
