Nintendo Case forces the “Palworld” developers to change the game mechanics

The developers of “Palworld” had to remove or replace many gameplay features of their sandbox game due to a legal dispute with Nintendo. The pocket pair team has now confirmed this in a blog entry for the first time. For months, there is suspicion in the community that distant sports mechanics may be attributed to Nintendo’s trial.

Nintendo had sued the Sandbox surprised in the last autumn: “Palworld” violates several patents from Pokémon developer. Patents describe play mechanics in generally placed language mechanics that are known from Pokémon video games-as to throw poke balls on sports figures.

As part of the trial, Pocketpere clearly felt forced to change some complaint mechanics. In a patch released on November 30, 2024, the opportunity was removed by throwing the sails of “Pal -Kugalal” -Eustatic and functionally very equally equally, compared to the behavior of Pokes Balls in Pokémon Games. Instead, the pulse now appear to be stable next to the players. According to Pocketpere, other game mechanics were modified with this patch.

“How many guesses, these changes were actually a result of the ongoing legal dispute”, Write the studio from Japan. “Everyone was disappointed here in Pocketpere that this change was to be made, and we understand that many players feel the same disappointment.”

The bad news is as follows: With an upcoming patch, more adjustments are necessary for sports functions, writing pocketpere. From this patch, gliding will no longer be possible with pulse, but only with a glider. “We hope that our fans will understand that these changes are necessary to avoid further interruptions in the development of ‘Palworld’.”
