The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro looks chic and elegant in the style of its predecessors. Gray unibody houses made of aluminum are of high quality. Compared to devices like Honor to Magic Pad 2, the display edge looks slightly thick.

Overall, the image quality is confident: the colors appear stronger, the contradictions are filled. As the IPS panel, it does not reach the black values ​​of the OLED display, but still provides a solid representation. There is still some space for improvement with color accuracy. The perspective stability is also high, even if you keep the tablet flat. Another highlight is a high refreshing rate of 144 Hz, which ensures a very liquid representation, especially in sports or animation. The display also reacts properly to touch the input.

However, there is a major drawback: the maximum glow of only 400 knots leaves to be somewhat desired. This means that the tablet is almost particularly suitable for indoor operation. It does not represent enough of HDR material.

We tested the version with a bright performance here. But there is also a version with a matte screen, which is similar to the Lenovo tab P12 mat display.

The camera device is rather lean – specific of inexpensive pills. But you do not need more than Snapshot in an emergency, video chat or take pictures of documents anyway. Who will take pictures with such a large tablet seriously?

The main camera shots with 13 megapixels and the front camera with 8 megapixels are modest and only in good light. The autofocus reacts slightly. After all, videos in 4K with the main camera are possible, but only with 30 FPS. Unlike a smartphone, the camera plays a supporting role for us only with a tablet.

The remaining equipment are also updated: Wi-Fi 6E, USB-C 3.0 (including display ports) and Bluetooth 5.3 boards. However, there is no version with a mobile phone module. After all, GPS is available if a person wants to use large tablets as an oversized navigation system, with hotspots from the downloaded offline card or smartphone. The power button also has a fingerprint scanner, with which the device can be unlocked quickly and firmly.

The voice of four -built -loudspeakers is particularly impressive. They create a crystal clear, full and spatial sound that also supports Dolby Atomos. If you sit alone in front of the tablet, you feel about a small home theater-almost.

A pen is also available – but only when you order the respective version. The tablet is introduced very cheap even without stylus, as well as with or without a protective cover called Folio. The input pencil tab is pen plus. It is not loaded through USB and does not load when it is magnetically following the back.
