The Javaland conference will take place again in 2025 at the Nürburgring from 1 to 3 April. The program of the conference has now been finalized after the Program Advisory Board reviewed approximately 470 submissions.

Javaland is a community conferenceWhich is mainly targeted at Java developers. The organizers are iJUG, DOAG and Heise Medien.

Current Affairs and Famous Speakers
The main conference on April 1 and 2 will feature a total of approximately 150 presentations across nine tracks. In addition to the latest developments in Java and Jakarta EE, software architecture, security and interactions with other programming languages are on the agenda. Some of the lectures deal with the sensible and safe use of generic AI.

As every year, many renowned German and international speakers will be on stage, including Ed Burns, Falk Sippach, Emily Jiang, Thorben Jansen and Adam Bien. The Newcomers Program, which supports new speakers in their first appearance on the conference stage, is also a tradition.

As in previous years, an additional training day will be held after the main conference on 3 April.

The Javaland event is a community conference for Java developers and is organized by the German Oracle User Community (DOAG) and Heise Medien in cooperation with iJUG, the interest group of German-speaking Java user groups.
