Problem with Notes app
There have been reports of problems in the Notes app for the last few weeks. The cause appears to be that when the new terms and conditions regarding the introduction of an “Apple Account” are approved, certain flags are not set and the app appears blank as a result. However, this does not happen with all users. Also, Mac is apparently not affected.
Apple now writes in its new support document that if the texts have disappeared, you should first go to System Settings under iCloud and there under Notes check whether device synchronization is active. If it doesn’t, you should turn it on – the menu item apparently stops suddenly. If this step is not enough, you should restart your iPhone, iPad or Vision Pro and check the settings again. “After these steps, your iCloud Notes should appear and sync will resume on the device signed in to the same Apple account. Once sync is complete, you should see content previously synced from iCloud.”
Backup only with (relatively) modern devices
