This app is available in both Google Play Store and Apple App Store. After connecting the mini E, the app starts automatically and provides a spontaneous user interface. When used for the first time, it takes the user through the most important functions.

The live view involves automatic calibration, while the manual mode enables the temperature range values to adjust with the symbol of the hand. There is also an alternative integration of the smartphone camera, but the image has not been saved with IR recording. There are a total of 15 colored palettes to choose.

In the test, Mini E assured with its quick commission. The app is ready for use and stable use in connections within seconds. At the request, the maximum or minimum temperature of a specific area can be exclusively displayed. Only German translation appears immature in places.

image quality

Unlike Mini V2 and Mini V2 Plus, Mini E’s resolve with 96 × 96 pixels is quite low. In addition, the picture comes in an unusual, square format. As a result, the expansion is much lower than the mini-V2 model. This is sufficient for a rough evaluation, but detailed analysis requires a high resolution tool. However, the presentation is usually sufficient to detect thermal bridges in the house or for night animal observation in the forest.
