How can websites be designed so that they are truly accessible to everyone? That’s at the core of the question accessibility day An online theme day of the Enterprise JavaScript Conference on November 7, 2024 EnterJS. In cooperation with the organizers iX and dpunkt.verlag, accessibility expert Dr. Maria Korneeva prepared an online event that addresses, among others, frontend, full stack and web developers. Product owners or technical leads can also gain valuable insights for their company.

The Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), which will require barrier-free products from mid-2025, and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are both explained in detail.

Lectures on accessibility, testing and legal compliance
In six 45-minute expert lectures, participants will learn what to keep in mind when developing a barrier-free website. The speakers will address the following topics, among others:
