A clearer picture of “Apple intelligence” is slowly emerging. In one fell swoop, Apple is introducing a whole bunch of AI functions in iOS 18, iPadOS 18 and macOS 15 that many people have long known from other apps and services. But Apple’s AI model has a built-in advantage over the competition: only Apple intelligence gets insight into a user’s contextual information – from communications to contacts to locations.
