From July 1 to 4, 2025, Cloudland will open its doors for the fourth time – for the first time at a new location: Heide Park Resort in Soltau. A celebration by and for the cloud native community now invites you to actively participate again. they have that for that cloudland starters DCNC (German-speaking Cloud Native Community) – a consortium of independent communities, user groups and meetups from Germany, Austria and Switzerland – now Call for Participation (CFP) (Registration required).

Join, network and have fun
Interested parties have a chance till January 31, 2025 Submit suggestions and ideasTo actively participate in the Cloud Native Festival. Organizers, supported by Heise Median and IX, want Cloudland to focus on the central topic areas of “Container and Cloud Technologies”, “Microservices and Domain-Driven Design”, “DevOps and Methodology” and “CI/CD and Automation” at the event. Primarily comprised of interactive formats that invite festival visitors to actively participate and encourage networking for everyone involved. Practical sessions, workshops, collaborative cloud programming or moderated discussions for beginners and experts are as welcome as playful challenges (escape rooms, capture the flag, etc.) and entertaining shows. Festival by the community for the community
Around 500 enthusiastic participants gathered for the third edition of the Cloudland Festival in Fantasialand near Brühl in the summer of 2024 and used CloudCamp, Hacker School, workshops and practical sessions to learn and exchange together. But Gaming Night and Summer Night also provided plenty of opportunities for networking and fun. Cloudland 2025 also aims to shed light on all these and other new festivals. So the organizers are expecting many inspiring contributions from the community.
