Fitness is an important topic for Radomir. Whoever starts in good condition has the advantage and can easily face the rigors of a long mountain journey with photo equipment. The photographer advises amateur photographers who do not dare to travel long distances, to start with short trips, which can be reached by cable car or which allow you to stay overnight in huts.

photography is not a podcast
With us, photographers tell you how it’s really like: life with the camera at the ready. New every other Sunday.
Autumn and spring are the peak seasons for wildlife photography in the Alps. On the one hand, this is due to the weather, since in the mountains it can be very changeable. But animals’ annual life cycles also play a role. Jakubowski primarily photographs mammals. He knows from experience that he doesn’t even have to look for marmots in the winter. But the photographer also doesn’t want to disturb other animals that don’t hibernate during the challenging winter.
In the current episode of Click Boom Flash, Radomir tells us what he experienced on his tours through the mountains and what advice he has for wildlife photographers who want to shine in competitions.
