company SAMSUNG Today unveiled its Smart Monitor 2025, Odyssey Gaming Monitor, and Viewfinity Monitor series, which will be showcased at Samsung’s first look at CES on January 5. They are devices that add AI functionality and leading size to the OLED market.
He Smart Monitor M9 (Model M90SF) includes AI image optimization and search functions. It features AI Picture Optimizer, which analyzes input signals to determine the type of content to be displayed – such as games, videos or productivity applications – and automatically adjusts display settings. For players, the AI recognizes the style of play and adjusts image settings for each play style.
The model features 4K AI Upscaling Pro, which uses AI processing and neural networks to upscale low-resolution content to 4K quality. By analyzing the input signal and existing image data, this feature performs the same functions regardless of the original resolution. Provides flawlessly sharp images.
It has a 32” 4K OLED screen with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 for better visibility.
odyssey series
The Odyssey gaming monitor series comes in new sizes with the 2025 Odyssey OLED G8 and G6 models.
The Odyssey OLED G8 (model G81SF) is the first 27” 4K (3,840 x 2,160) OLED gaming monitor. The screen offers 165 ppi (pixels per inch) with a refresh rate of 240 Hz. The pixel density and level of smoothness of the screen provide the optimal level of detail.
Both models offer a response time of 0.03 ms (GTG) even in fast-paced gaming environments. They also support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and are compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync, which allows them to deliver smoother images with less tearing and flicker. VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 delivers rich dark tones while making the most of the OLED display.
Samsung is also introducing a 27” Odyssey 3D gaming monitor at CES (model G90XF), which offers a customizable 3D experience without the need for separate glasses. You can also add new depth to content by using AI to analyze 2D video and convert it to 3D.
Viewfinity S8 models
This is the largest 4K 16:9 monitor ever. Its screen is about 34% larger than the previous screen. With its 99% sRGB color gamut that faithfully renders colors on a 4K (3,840 x 2,160) display, it delivers the color representation and brightness required for professional users.
It has been certified for “Ergonomic Workspace Visualization” by TUV Rhineland, recognizing its ergonomic design that improves work immersion.
TUV certified Intelligent Eye Care reduces users’ eye fatigue even during prolonged use, by adjusting the color temperature based on ambient light. Eye-saving mode and anti-flicker function also protects your eyes from fatigue.
On the other hand, the Odyssey OLED G6 (model G60SF) redefines speed as the first OLED display in history with a 500 Hz refresh rate on its QHD (2,560 x 1,440) display.
