After deep discussion he took a decision on the issue of health. To make it more tangible he divided it into three dimensions:
- Physical Health: Exercise, Sleep, and Prevention.
- Mental health: stress reduction, mindfulness and creative hobbies.
- Social health: maintaining relationships, making new contacts.
For each dimension, they collected 50 ideas for things to do actively – from walks to volunteer work. These lists provide inspiration and flexibility to try new approaches as needed. Dominic Winter uses self-disclosure, tracking tools, and reflection to weekly check in on how he is performing in three areas. This allows him to flexibly adjust his focus and target where he wants to improve.
His approach: inspiration through resilience, holistic approach and diversity rather than despair. Does the whole thing work? Dominic Winter can’t say that yet, but it’s worth a try.
