The development team has apparently fundamentally redesigned the application builder with the aim of increasing performance. According to the announcement post, it should now load applications ten times faster and can now handle large and complex applications with thousands of UI components.

This revision is due to a new architecture that aims to give developers easier state management and more control over UI rendering.

The workflow automation tool is now officially available. It brings a redesigned user interface for better error handling and debugging tools. Users can now trigger workflows using webhooks that can be protected with so-called secrets – this means confidential information like API keys or passwords that are stored and managed securely to prevent unauthorized access.

The list of new features related to this tool includes support for multi-environments, comprehensive execution logs, and node-level error handling.

In the area of security and access control, ToolJet 3.0 introduces new predefined user roles that aim to simplify the management of access rights. Administrators can now synchronize user groups from OIDC with Tooljet, and users have the option to be redirected directly to the SSO (single sign-on) login page. Workspace constants now support secure storage secrets that are encrypted,

The update extends the ToolJet database: it now supports SQL interactions, enables complex queries with aggregate functions and groupings, and provides the ability to duplicate tables.

ToolJet plans to integrate additional functions in the future. It includes modules for reusing components and queries, organizing queries and pages into folders, and setting triggers for workflows. Integration with external secret management tools and further improvements to ToolJet Copilot are also planned.

Complete information about these innovations are in the release notes To find.
