If you look at which institutions are responsible for cybersecurity in Germany, questions immediately arise. How do multiple entities at the federal, state, and local levels communicate with each other in an emergency? How do they coordinate and who is in charge? The non-profit Berlin organization Interface (until recently: New Responsibility Foundation) monitors the broader German cybersecurity landscape and has been publishing an annual report on it since 2018.
