LG Electronics (LG) will present its innovative cleaning solutions at IFA 2024, which will be held from September 6 to 10 in Berlin, Germany. LG CordZero All-in-One Tower Combi, Where a broom vacuum cleaner is combined with a robot vacuum cleaner. By combining the CordZero A9X stick vacuum cleaner with the CordZero R5 robot vacuum cleaner, the device redefines storage, charging and aesthetics while simplifying daily cleaning.
“We have combined the cleaning and maintenance process into one to provide the most convenient and seamless user experience,” he says. Lyu Jae-cheolPresident of LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company.
Solution
The all-in-one Tower Combi Dual offers a cleaning solution through the Auto Empty function, which automatically empties the waste bins of both the broom and the robot vacuum cleaner. When connected, both devices charge so they are ready to clean at all times. The very compact charging station acts as a central hub for all vacuum needs, takes up minimal space and uses UVC LEDs to help prevent bacterial growth inside the disposable dust bag.

The CordZero A9X features LG’s Smart Inverter Motor, which is designed for powerful performance. The fast spinning action of the motor produces strong suction that picks up dirt, dust, and debris. It uses technology that compresses dirt and debris to increase tank capacity and reduce the frequency of emptying. The vacuum cleaner has a spray mop for optimal scrubbing on hard floors.
Abilities
On the other hand, the CordZero R5 with Mop has a comprehensive system that is responsible for cleaning and mopping the floor, removing dust, filling water and automatically rinsing the mop. It is equipped with a mop that allows simultaneous vacuuming and mopping and includes an automatic water supply system from the integrated water tank that keeps the mop wet and eliminates the need for frequent trips to the water source. To ensure that the vacuum cleaner stays clean and fresh, the robot automatically supplies the cleaner from the water tank.
It uses a 360-degree LiDAR sensor to prevent accidents, avoid obstacles and furniture. Using this sensor and a front camera that works together with 3D and other sensors, it is able to trace precise routes, recognize up to 96 objects and ensure that movement is carried out correctly between obstacles.
It cleans dust with a motor that provides suction power of up to 10,000 Pascals (Pa), while its mop spins at 180 revolutions per minute (rpm). The vacuum can also detect carpets, increasing power and mopping speed to clean these rough surfaces more effectively.

To help reduce odours from dirt collected by the device, LG has developed a cleaner dispenser that is automatically dispensed when the mop is rinsed and dried with hot air. This process reduces the formation of odour-emitting compounds such as methyl mercaptan and dimethyl disulfide by about 30% in the container that stores the water used after mopping.
