Simple pairing, quick device switching, special functions: Apple’s first true wireless earphones caused a lot of excitement and heated discussion about their appearance almost eight years ago. In episode 77, Malte Kirchner discusses the AirPods model range, including the strengths and weaknesses of the earphones. Convenient functions such as quickly switching devices are great – but they can also be annoying, especially when devices such as the iPad are shared. We dedicate ourselves to going into detail about the individual models as well as competitive advantages and aspects related to environmental protection. We are also concerned about what is going to happen with the in-ears; one should not wait too long for the new AirPods 4.
