The soundbar is easier to install more space-saving and compared to a complete high-Fi system. But can you live with sound too? LG says yes and top model DS95TR sent to the test. The device wants to score with 15 channels according to comprehensive connection options, great sound, wireless subwoofer and the same rear as well as the principle 9.1.5. There is an app on top of it – everything looks great, right? We checked in the test whether everything is really very good.

LG has modernized the design of DS95TR compared to the previous DS95QR. The sides now move at an angle of 90 degrees instead of departure and instead of fabric, a chic, fine-taq-jali metal corpus is used at the front. On the other hand, housing is made of plastic, and three height speakers at the top are also embedded. Even if the impression of processing and optical quality is perfectly fine, we will like aluminum or wood instead of plastic at the price.

It mainly bothers on height, because while the LG soundbar is long, but very flatter and should fit under any television without any problem, the devil soundbar also grows with a huge 86 inches.

There is no performance in LG DS95TR, instead the function of transfer information only moves on three colored LEDs in the right third of the soundbar, and an acoustic declaration. This then accepts the setting point you choose. At its top, there is an app that simplifies the operation for proper visualization.

The wireless subwoofer supplied is simple and disinterested. It has an 8 -inch chassis with a cloth cover and a bass reflex tube on the narrow front. With 18 liters of volume, it promises more depth and level resistance than its predecessor, but remains smaller and above all narrow than the equivalent than the devil. Like the sub, two rear speakers also communicate with the soundbar in a wireless manner. Like the soundbar, they are made of plastic, but haptic and alternatively less quality appear. We initially had a problem with the connection of the ThinQ app, the soundbar did not get the bus. In our case, the solution was a special change in dilation through a special 2.4 GHz wlan and/or now the old app. After integration is a sign of the ThinQ app, then the connection was easily worked.

We had problems with the first installation.-I did not want to pass a sound simply through HDMI, although Samsung TV directly recognized a dolby-ATMOS-capable device. The conversation with the competitive model here does not work completely smoothly, which can also be caused by television. Either way, the soundbar, apparently did not vary between HDMI input and HDMI-EERC output initially, unless we stumble in a related setting on television. However, in the app, this difference is already available – a bit strange. This problem can be a different case, but it should not be uncontrolled. It was not present at the optical entrance.

If you do not know LG control, you will initially be irritated to some extent without an app, as display with three LEDs, which are different in different colors, is anything but clear. The alone volume, which can be controlled with a remote control of television for EARC (extended audio returns channel), is anything clear. So not only are three colors (cool green, medium yellow and loud red), but also grow with increasing volume, intensity and number of bright LEDs, so that there is an almost endless combination of representation – who should be seen from there? The manual, of course, provides information about many colors and glossy combinations of three diodes, but certainly no one will learn who wants to learn or see the instructions constantly. If we criticized the Tafael Soundbar in the test for a simple display, it appears to be ideal with the scene of the brutal operation of the LG Sound.

Voice output is already clear, but time -conscience. If you press one of the keys, for example, for sound mode or general settings, the soundbar confirms it with a declaration. If the word spoken seems to be “subworks”, for example, DS95TR believes that its intensity can now be set in relation to the rest. However, if you want to create further settings, you will have to press it or navigation button again and continue step by step until you are at your destination. Every change is accepted by voice statement, which, however, always comes the time – which takes and gets angry! So there are two reasons that we do not devaluate the soundbar: on one hand, after trying it, you hardly have to change anything later, and there is also a savings app.

The ThinQ app shows all relevant information quickly and clearly, so that the operation of DS95TR is eventually as easy as it should be. Here you can also start automatic measurements of the room. LG uses smartphones and soundbar microphones, users should wear the best hearing protection – extremely loud tone chased us in a good horror and left us with bells. In addition, the automatic measurement failed on the basis that the subworm should be in the immediate surrounding area and without obstacles in the surrounding area. On the one hand, it seems absurd, finally, the bass should not be located and a wireless subwoofer is absolutely wireless to install it in a flexible manner as possible. In addition, the app always had connections, which used to join the soundbar every time by selecting the soundbar.

It was worth noting for us from the soundbar and rear-this should not happen with a high-end sound bar in the upper value section! You can only hear that with full silence and with a very calm path, we find inappropriate anyway.

Unpleasant sound tones already indicate this: DS95TR is definitely not the lack of volume. And otherwise the soundbar knows how to celebrate. Thanks to the 9.1.5 setup with 14 speaker plus subwofer, it offers a very strong and space-filled sound with a good place. The dedicated center height channel ensures clear, natural dialogue, here the LG Sound Bar is slightly better than the Teufel model.

Strong LG-Sweeter talks very well. It controls a complete, differentiated bass for overall sound without overdating. Only in very high level areas he removes something from the breath, but then it is already so loud that most users can hardly watch a film. If you want more bass, you should use the Devil team, here the sub plays not only deeply, but the sound is still completely completely completely strong. The system of satanic provider is also level.

The satellites gave an impact around the space, but with very complex materials, they sometimes hate the heights. Dolby Atomos and DTS: The X-Ton track is well staged, the effect is kept properly in the room and the performance of height is a real plus compared to the simple 5.1 system.
